What is the French Wine Society Conference?

fwa_logo_for_web.jpgThe French Wine Society Conference is a three-day event that focuses on what is new and cutting edge within the wine regions of France.

In 2008, industry experts such as Allen Meadows (a.k.a. Burghound) and David Schildknecht (contributing writer for the Wine Advocate), Charles Curtis MW (Head of North American Wines Sales for Christie’s) delivered  two days worth of in-depth seminars.

This was followed by one day devoted to teaching the teacher. It was comprised of educational briefings on how to explain difficult wine concepts to the general public and was coupled with the roll-out of the French Wine Academy for Wine Enthusiasts  teaching materials.

French Wine Society Conference 2009!

This year,  the French Wine Society will deliver another fine series of seminars on the wine regions of France  in conjunction with a workshop on Armagnac, French cheeses and scents (courtesy of Le Nez du Vin). You don’t want to miss it!
